2.Terms and Conditions

2.1. Booking and Payment

By booking a kitesurfing trip with Travel Downwind - TDWND, you agree to these terms:

• A booking is confirmed upon receipt of payment.

• Full payment is required before departure unless stated otherwise.

• Cancellations are subject to our refund policy.
   

2.2. Travel and Health Insurance

• Customers are required to obtain their own international travel and health insurance, covering:

  • Medical expenses and hospital stays

  • Emergency evacuation and repatriation

  • Kitesurfing and extreme sports coverage

• Proof of insurance may be requested before departure.
   

2.3. Health and Vaccinations

• Customers must ensure they meet the health requirements for their destination.

• Vaccinations for tropical travel destinations are strongly recommended, including but not limited to:

  • Hepatitis A/B, Typhoid, Yellow Fever, and Tetanus

  • Malaria prophylaxis if applicable

• Travel Downwind - TDWND is not liable for any health issues arising during or after the trip.
   

2.4. Risks and Liability

• Kitesurfing is an inherently risky sport, and participants acknowledge this before booking.

• Travel Downwind - TDWND is not responsible for injuries, damages, or losses incurred during trips.

• Customers participate at their own risk and must follow local safety regulations and instructor guidelines.
   

2.5. Force Majeure

• Travel Downwind - TDWND is not responsible for trip cancellations due to force majeure events such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.

2.6. Code of Conduct

• Participants are expected to respect local customs and environmental regulations.

• Any disruptive behavior may result in exclusion from the trip without refund.
